So, this is the second post and features the delicious green bean casserole we all drool over. You have seen this in commercials, movies, and countless posts online. Oh! Those crunchy onions and creamy spoonsful of green beans! Who could resist? It originates from this recipe on the back of French's Crispy Fried Onions. People have tried to make it their own and alter it, but the original it perfection in Pyrex, in my opinion.

This version serves 6, but you can see it is easily doubled.
Ingredients
Directions
- 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 4 cups cooked cut green beans or 2 cans (14.5oz each) any style green beans, drained
- 1 1/3 cups FRENCH'S® Crispy Fried Onions
Directions
- MIX soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2 -qt. baking dish.
- Stir in beans and 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions.
- BAKE at 350°F for 30 min. or until hot. Stir.
- TOP with remaining 2/3 cup onions.
- Bake 5 min. until onions are golden.
I have also seen this with shredded cheese mixed in and I am a sucker for cheese. So, make it as is or make it your own. Just make it!
Here is a recap from post one...
Each family gathering means my children will undoubtedly ask for a few things. Without fail they will ask that my sister make the following items:
-broccoli rice casserole
-green bean casserole
-Jello cake
Each and every one of these things are AMAZING and just part of what makes the table complete. (Jello cake already has a spot on here because we take turns making it for different holidays.)
