Today I decided I need a place (other than Pinterest) to keep my recipes. I have had cookbooks... Many of them have met interesting, but tragic, fates. I made a digital cookbook, but that was on an old computer and when the computer died, so did my dreams of publishing a cookbook. So, today is the day I start a recipe blog. There is no hope of consistency or proper use of grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.

Squash Casserole
This is a great southern treat in the summer. I love when all the squash plants start blooming because I know this casserole (& fried squash!!!) are just around the corner!
2 c. shredded squash
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
6 round, buttery crackers
1/4 c. diced onion
1/2 lb. of Velveeta cheese
Mix and pour into well buttered casserole dish. You can top with additional crackers, if desired.
Bake at 350 F until brown. (Check it at about 30 minutes, but leave longer, if needed.)
